Vilafortuny was chosen as the location for the first German medical center, the noble suburb of Cambrils, which made a name for itself as an exclusive residential and holiday resort with a high standard. Not only in summer, Cambrils is the destination of many Europeans and rich Russians who want to spend a peaceful vacation here away from cheap mass tourism. Even outside of the holiday season, Swiss, German, Dutch, French, Russian, etc., and above all wealthy Spaniards, some from Barcelona, Zaragoza or Lerida, even from Andorra, not only have their second home in Cambrils.

Cambrils has also made a name for itself with its award-winning sandy beach and its incomparable gastronomy, not forgetting the olive oil from Arbequinas (which won first prize again this year), which is on the table at every Nobel Prize ceremony. Cambrils has also been awarded the "Barrios y Villas Marineras" prize.

Cambrils in the heart of the Costa Dorada, offers accessibility to two nearby international airports: Reus is 12 km distance and Barcelona 100 km further in the north via a regular shuttle bus to Cambrils. The AVE train station of Camp de Tarragona is a further contributor with its fast trains which allow the Spanish metropolises very quick right of entry, as well as the excellent country road network.

There is a bus stop right in front of our medical center, so that even patients who cannot or do not want to drive themselves can have a comfortable journey, whether within the town or to the new Cambrils train and bus stations.

Our medical centre is located directly at the entrance of the Autovia A7, so it is easy to reach and offers sufficient parking space. Directly adjacent is a four-star hotel, and the coastal road with other hotels is about two kilometres away. For guests of these and other hotels, our limousine service is of course also available.

Nearby amenities such as the world class golf courses, a luxury thermal bath with Spa, the amusement and theme park Port Aventura as well as a paradise for water sports and the imposing charm of the yacht harbour of Cambrils.

The district Vilafortuny was once only reserved for the empires and was guarded at its entrances, so that only the former High Society had access. If this has also changed, it is still a privilege of the wealthy to have their residence here.

The castle of Vilafortuny from the 12th Century, within walking distance from our clinic, was declared a heritage site of national interest. Inside it holds historical halls with impressive paintings, so that weddings, banquets and concerts are held during the summer Festival of Cambrils.
